This is the lake of Kuala Selangor. The view of lake is very beautiful and also the sound of different kinds of bird and monkeys (although there were a lot of mosquitoes and other insects) . This lake is wonderful!

My Weekend...

Last weekend, my friend, Ee Ling planned a trip to Kuala Selangor Nature Park (KSNP). It's a short trip (2 days , 1 night). The trip only me (eileen) and Ee ling. hehe... it's was great. Eventhough there was only two of us, we spent great time together. Before the journey started, we called KSNP to ask about the accomodation, all FULLY booked. My.. sure got lots of people in KSNP over the weekend. I heard from Ee ling that her friends from Kuala Gula would be there also. Great... i got to know new friends. WAh hahaa...

Early in the morning, we took bus from PUDU. It was funny... both of us dind't know which bus to take. The man in PUDU told us the bus is red colour with SELANGOR. Waited for 15 minutes... the bus finally came. The bus ride to Kuala Selangor was super duper long... But it was fun.

We reached KSNP around 2 :30pm (approximately). We thought of trying our luck... see whether we can get accomodation in KSNP (again).. but too bad all fully booked. Both of us stayed in Hotel Melawati (not bad... RM40 per nite. It's air conditioning room.) which is near Maybank. After that, we had our lunch.

Around 3:30pm, we two walked into the secondary forest of KSNP. It was great... we got to spot a few birds... (couldn't remember the name... got to check my Kuala Selangor guidebook). Got to learn how to listen to different kinds of birds. On the way entered the Secondary forest, i saw lots of Silverleaf monkeys a.k.a Punk-Head Monkey. I think i'm too engrossed with their hairstyle.. i forgot to take picturers (haih...wat a pity!).

Then, we went into the mangrove forest ( hehee.... through the bridge). We saw lots of crustaceans (esp the one with one red claw) and mudskippers. We also got to spot 2 blue crabs. Ah. heheh... isn't it beautiful? After walking around the forests, we two stopped at one of the watch tower.

AFter that, we went to Bukit Melawati, where the light tower located. My... the view from there was WOnderful. At first, we planned to watch sun set, hai... we missed the timing. But then both of us really enjoyed the view. On the way to B. Melawati, we saw lots of Silverleaf monkeys ( wonder y... hardly see Marcaque monkeys around even in KSNP).

WAh haha... my motif to go to Kuala Selangor is to see fireflies. Hehee.. at night, we followed Ee Ling's friends to Kampung Tuan to watch fire flies. Due to rain, so the amount of fireflies was less compared to any day. But i'm very satisfied and happy with this trip. My... really Thanks a lot to Ee ling. Around midnite (after fireflies trip), we went to explore secondary forest. It was a bit spooky.. But then we got to spot some fire flies. We didn't get to see any animals or insects (i guess most of them have gone to their Zzzzz.....Shhhhh...).

From the trip, i got to know a few new friends.. from Kuala Gula. Most of them spoke Mandarin and Hokkien. So it's quite easy for me to communicate with them. VEry friendly , funny and caring....

It was a great weekend... Really.. trully enjoyed it. Honestly speaking, i don't mind to go back there again. Happy Easter Break.. !!

Lab.. Tut... GENETICS!!

Already 3rd week... my oh my, still felt blur for genetics. WAteva dear Dr Robin said in the class, my..... i think i enter a SPanish or GReek class. Don't even understand what os he trying (his very best) to teach us. While talking, his hands like to swing here and there (OMG...!!). ANyway, everytime after genetics lab, i'll try to run away as soon as possible to Ipoh White Coffee Bean... to relax. Hai..... my weekend, all taken up... by Gene Tut. My... Dr Robin..how come you like this?!

Study life in Monash

After read Carol's and Aprils' blog, i totally agreed with what they wrote. After attending Gen 3031 (the same lecturer teach gen3041 for this new sem), i still can remember the 1st day i attend his GEn3031 class. Totally lost... didn't even understand what was he trying to say .... Model ABC, petal, carpel... or wateva gene.. ( eventhough he tried his very best). At least, this sem.. i think is so much better than last semester (but still... sometimes get lost.. lost the direction...April, totally agree with you..by using highway, flyover or U-turn..wateva way he used during his lecture). But to be honest, he changed a lot.. he had improved.

This 3rd year... honestly speaking.. it was ok... except for genetic (really hope this sem would be better...**finger cross **). Overall i can say i find it better..esp MBB class... i love the way how the lecturer give example for each lecture. My... i really salut him. As for bus stats (thank god i take it), really help me to refresh my mathematic..which i learned in F5 (statistics..hehehe..). In this new sem, i really do wish i can put more effort.

Yeah... in fact, now i practice and try to follow this habit...read the lecture notes before the lecture start and try to revise it after every class or..at least during the weekend. Besides that, at least this sem... i'm not depress, easily got mad, less confident or feel disappointed (ah..thank god i learn how to handle) towards certain stuffs which never happened in my whole study life (on the last two semesters)..(thank god..!) eventhough i looked happy (as usual).

Anyway, this week i went to White Coffee Bean twice (my my..). I went there thought i can meet up with Uncle king and Aunty Tina. But then... instead of meet them, i met the young chef (couldn't remember his name).......(quite good looking). Anyway, the food in the shop was not bad. The coffee was the main attractive... it was good. So i guess this sem, i might visit that shop..quite often (somemore near my house..kekekee). Anyway, good nite. Think need to recharge my battery. Huggz!!

This new semester's resolution:
1) Revise.. REvise
2) Work Hard...( wah haha.. )
3) at least must involve in a project (wah haha... pray hard)
4) Know how to handle friendship well
5) Be happy, don worry ( as usual)
6) Be confident...
7) EXERCISE...(trying to make it as habit)

hmmm that's it..WAh hahahaaaa...

Movie of The Week...

Yesterday, after finish environmental microbiolog class (with Dr Omar), i straight away went to Computer lab (as usual) becuz scared the lab goin to be full (man, it's only 1st week...). After checked , sent and replied email and also...tried to update my blog. Something popped up in my mind...WATCH MOVIE!! Man, i think my old movie disease come back. During holiday, i had a whole list of movies and some series that i need to catch up with. One of the movie is Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events which i had been waiting for so long (after million dollar baby and constantine). My... straight away went to cinemaonline to book tickets. WAh hahaa....the movie started at 2:40pm at GSC Midvalley (which mean had to rush there to collect ticket). For a good movie, i don mind going to midvalley to watch (sound systems much better than any cinema).

After movie, I can said that i love that movie.... especially the opening speech... ( i wonder who's that? is it Jude Law?). My my..... at first, i tot i came to wrong cinema (thanx to nickelodeon...becuz very scared got spongebob appeared on the screen)...and tiwi asked me whether she is in the correct cinema or not. Thank god... it's NOT! Overall, the movie was great. I love Sunny so much and also Count Olaf. Jim Carry really impressed me... with his talents (Applause...EnCore!!) If i hav the chance to watch it again, i don mind...(kekekee...).

Well... that's what i did before the real hectic week start. Everyone that i know, enjoy ur 1st week of UNI!! CHEE..RRR...SS!!

Ahn Nyong, NEw SEmemster!!

THe first day in Uni..., man really long time didn't meet all my coursemates. Most of them changed their hairstyle and the way the dress up. AS for me, still the same old Eileen aka the cute lil gal.. (Hai....). BEfore the class start.. (one week before the class start), you can hear juniors asking seniors for the notes, textbooks...and ah hmmm.. (you know wat?!). A few juniors approached me and asked me whether i still hav my notes with me? Man... hav to tell them that i already given away ( yeah... 3rd year liao mah...).

REally.... only the 1st day, i can feel peer pressure and stress around me. I can see everyone busy asking around.( can see that the lab is starting to be the busiest place and also the book shop). Beside that, u can see the notice board in every floor ( i guess) got notices up...book sales la...notes sales la and so on.

AH......As for me, still enjoying my holiday (REally dont want to see myself in stress condition...AHhhhhhhhhh). Anyway, this semester, i feel that i'm a bit free (thanx to my elective and it's only 1st WEek.. kekekekeke).... either i hav long break in between or my class finish superb early. Ah...do i really enjoy my uni life? i can say... yes in a way... and no also. Well.... i'll update my uni life story here...Tata!!
