Oil Palm.. Padi Field TRip
THis is the day...which i had been waiting for so long. Wah haha United Plantation (UP) and Sekinchan PAdi fieLd. I woke up at 6am because had to meet at campus at 7am. Although still in my sleepin mode, but i was very excited cuz got to see my bLoved Oil palm again (wah haha...)
Well.. reached campus around 6:45am.. I tot i was early. But then... got a few people there already. MY pet bro, Kc came around that time too.. ^.^ and also Kar li. Wah haha thank god got her.. Or else my whoLe trip was like.. hmm.. a bit quiet. At first, i sat with kar li. But then Dr Surjit asked me to sit the other bus.
WE left campus around 7:15am. Dr Surjit, Amanda and i sat on the same bus. As for Dr Omar, Dr Joe and Ley hian.. they sat on the bus..which was the same as Kc and Jessie. In the bus, Dr Surjit sort of giving lecture and Q&A section to the students..which remind me...i need to refresh my BTH2800 subjects..(oil palm la..rice la..rubber tree la..soil la.. and a lot more). MY...couldn't recall back.. In my mind..it's just Dr RObin's Essay (Haiyoh... Drought Oh DRought.. why u WAnna harm the Plants Ah?..AH hmm ^^; ).
WE reached UP around 11am (or before..). WOw..i still remember.. the last trip i came was like one year and a few months ago (going to two years). My.. i still remember the sample of oils..different types of oil palms, cocouts, fertilizer and the most important one..Tissue culture Laboratory ( i just love there so much..!). WEll.. The thing that change was they served us breakfast which was raisin Bread and Curry Puffs. I love the raisin bread..Yummy.
Surprisingly..Dr joe forgot that i had been there before (Sigh....i thought he remember..). He asked me "eiLeen, is this ur first time here?". I was like..halo...sir, we ar the 1st batch student..we came here before..Halo.. yoo hoo..Anyway, i was so busy taking pictures..Pictures pictures..This time, i used my new dig cam (Canon Powershot A520). Wa haha.. i just love all the pictures taken by this camera.
AFter de tour..tissue culture lab, all of us went back to the bus..Start our..oil palm estate tour (Yii.. haa..). This time..de tour..oil palm estate..was a bit short. Nevertheless, i really miss the place and really enjoyed myself there. Wawh haha.. we got to see the owl's condominium. Wah haha.. me and jessie was like so crazy... We actually created non-sense story about the owl's condo (Oh my dear jessie.. REally great and really have lots of fun too..). After visitng the owl's condo.. WE got our lunch. It was delicious.. esp the fried chicken. Then.. we went to UP's bakery Shop. Wow.. neva know that UP has their own bakery shop. Got different types of cakes such as chocolate cake, english fruitcake, almond fruit cake and so on. My... me and Kar li .. we two shop like...WOw... KAr li.. we got the CHOCOLATE cake.. Wah haha (so bad la me..!!).
WEll... around 7:30 , we reached campus. I can say that... i really enjoy myself. Thanx to Dr surjit..and Amanda..They really taught me a lot during this trip. Wah haha..finally i know..cinnamon tree. WAh haha... Enjoy all the photos..
